Position Overview
The Warehouse Manager will oversee and coordinate all warehouse operations, including cold storage, inventory control, processing, staff supervision, and logistics planning. This role is directly responsible for managing the Warehouse Supervisor, Logistics Supervisor, and Processing Room operations, ensuring seamless and compliant functioning across all areas. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and compliance skills, particularly in handling frozen food products while adhering to health, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching frozen seafood and meat products.
• Provide leadership and direction to the Warehouse Supervisor and Logistics Supervisor, ensuring alignment and collaboration across teams.
• Oversee cold storage facilities, maintaining proper temperature control and ensuring food safety compliance.
• Manage the Processing Room, including staff, scheduling, and procedures, ensuring safe and hygienic handling, portioning, repacking, and labeling of products.
• Implement and monitor inventory control systems to minimize shrinkage and optimize stock levels.
• Coordinate import and export shipments, including customs documentation and compliance with international trade regulations.
• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customers to ensure efficient logistics and timely deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations (local food safety laws, HACCP, and ISO standards where applicable).
• Lead, train, and supervise warehouse, processing, and logistics staff, fostering a safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment.
• Monitor operational performance metrics (productivity, accuracy, turnaround times) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage warehouse and processing equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and safe usage.
• Prepare and manage warehouse budgets, including cost control and resource allocation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role, preferably within the frozen food, seafood, or meat industries.
• Strong knowledge of cold storage operations, processing room management, food safety standards, and HACCP compliance.
• Experience in wholesale distribution and import/export processes.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience managing supervisory-level staff.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Food Processing, or related field (preferred).
