REPORTING TO THE MANAGING DIRECTOR
JOB PURPOSE:
Achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by using specialised knowledge of the relevant technology to give customers the required information on operations and maintenance. Responsible for meeting a specific sales budget or target.
JOB FUNCTION:
90% of existing business is retained, market share is increased by obtaining new business, monthly and annual sales budget is met
Products and services are delivered to customer as and when required
Company sales procedures are followed during sales calls
All client requests are responded to within 24 hours
At least 36 client visits per month, conveyor Inspection when required and customer satisfaction is maintained
Customer information is captured and updated on the company's database
All expenditures are reconciled by due date
Quotations are completed as and when required
Feedback, near misses, incidents and innovations are logged on Sheqsys as they arise
Call reports are prepared by due date
Attendance and participation at exhibitions as discussed with MD
Market research is conducted in designated areas
Presentations are delivered to customer as required
Opportunities are supported with point of sale material
