Reporting to the Franchise Executive

OVERVIEW AND KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Overview:

The Territory Manager operates more as a franchise strategist and commercial architect. The role leans heavily into expansion, feasibility, market development, and systems-level thinking — critical for scaling and optimizing network performance at a macro level. The Territory Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the performance and expansion of the company's outlets within a defined region. This position balances commercial accountability with operational leadership, requiring hands-on engagement across sales performance, team capability, site development, and stakeholder reporting. It is a data-informed role with a strong emphasis on driving revenue growth, optimizing cost structures, improving store-level execution, and maintaining brand standards. Success in this position depends on the individual’s ability to interpret business intelligence, manage landlord and stakeholder relationships, support local marketing, and guide store teams to consistently deliver quality, speed, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead execution of territory-specific sales and marketing strategies aligned with the company's objectives.

Own P&L management across all stores in the region, identifying revenue enhancement and cost reduction opportunities.

Analyse sales performance, labour efficiency, and operational dashboards to identify trends and activate store-level improvements.

Deliver insightful reporting to stakeholders, translating metrics into clear action plans.

Execute demand forecasting and stock planning to ensure product availability while minimizing waste.

Ensure local store marketing campaigns resonate with specific communities and drive foot traffic.

Identify, negotiate, and secure new site developments or expansion opportunities.

Build strong landlord relationships, managing lease terms and renewal strategies proactively.

Maintain exceptional food safety, service standards, and operational compliance.

Coach and mentor Franchisee and store managers on leadership, performance, and company specific KPIs.

Benchmark competitive activity within the territory and adjust tactics accordingly.
