The Quality Control Manager will report directly to the Managing Director and will be required to work closely will all departments of the Company.
The primary roles of the Quality Control manager are to:
Ensure that the quality of both incoming and outgoing products are in line with data and product specifications
Carry out the necessary Quality tests.
Ensure that the quality of the day-to-day factory production meets company requirements
Maintain the ISO 9001-2015 Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure the Company passes the Audits.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Co-ordinate, implement and maintain a Quality Management System in-line with ISO 9001-2015 standards
Perform the necessary internal and external audits and follow up on outstanding actions until completed
Preparation and execution of customer audits
Comply to all quality assurance policies and procedures
Review and report on SOP’s relevant to the various factory job functions
Investigate and implementation of corrective action & feedback of customer complaints
Ensure the QMS tracking is performed monthly and communicated to all relevant departments
Responsible for the filing of all quality records generated by the quality system
Inspection of incoming and outgoing raw materials and products
Ensure that all material related complaints are forwarded to the suppliers
Ensure that the necessary quality control tests are carried out and review the outcomes thereof
Assist the Factory Manager as and where required
Assist Factory Manager with OHS related tasks and administration
Participate in stock takes by assisting with counting, investigating variances and preparation
Any other reasonable related functions
