Reporting to Contract Sales Manager
Main Purpose:
a. To promote and develop business in the Industrial Air Filtration Division’s sphere of expertise and area of operation with a view to keeping abreast with and improving the company's overall turnover and profit forecasts.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
a. Attainment of an individual turnover target established mutually between the incumbent and his Manager.
b. Attainment of an average divisional profit target of 40% on turn over, likely to be adjusted annually.
c. Levels of new business opportunities generated.
d. Maintenance current business generation levels.
e. Containment of personal selling expenses
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
a. Promotion of new business opportunities from within designated geographic and demographic areas of responsibility.
b. Servicing of existing business opportunities from within designated geographic and demographic areas of responsibility.
c. Assisting in the development of spares and servicing business in the designated geographic and demographic areas of responsibility.
d. Collection and simulation of information required for production well engineered and accurately costed solutions to client needs.
e. Presentation of solutions to clients.
f. Follow up and closure of all business opportunities.
g. Production of business opportunity and follow up reports.
h. Maintenance of business opportunity recording and filing systems.
i. Keeping abreast with company product developments and their areas of opportunity.
INTERNAL & EXTERNAL CUSTOMERS:
a. All clients – potential and existing – within designated geographic and demographic areas of responsibility.
b. Industrial Air Filtration contracts, engineering and administrative departments
