  • Forecasting sales for the next six months.
  • Making sure all depots are stocked with the correct month’s cover as needed.
  • Analysing each depot sales trends and adjustments made on a daily basis.
  • Communicating with them as to what is happening with regards to Government regulations and requirements.
  • Placing of orders on the warehouse for processing and picking.
  • Placing of orders on purchasing for stock not available.
  • Following up on goods to be received.
  • Booking stock into the system when it arrives.
  • Leasing with QC on the release of the products for distribution.
  • Dealing with packers for special packaging needed.
  • Supplying all depots with all packaging needed.
  • Updating the forecast program on stock not available.
  • Dealing with clearing agents on Import shipments.
  • Arranging delivery of Import shipments

 

Export

  • Dealing with Clearing and Forwarding agents on rates and services.
  • Doing all Export invoices for stock ready for dispatch.
  • Arranging for the import permits from the depot if needed.
  • Arranging for inspections if needed.
  • Arranging for containers/trucks for loading and transport to the Depot.
  • Dealing with clearing agents on shipments currently going to them.
  • Getting daily updates from the agents on shipment status.
  • Dealing with the depot on any damages or shortages received on shipments.
  • Keeping a detailed Export shipment file for each shipment despatched
  • Complete SOP file for sending stock to each country updated as needed

 

Other

  • Doing reports to Management on status of stock in all depots local and Export market.
  • Keeping all marketing literature updated and current at all depot.
  • Running a meeting on a monthly basis on any promotions and new literature that is to be produced and send to the depots.
  • Meeting with Management on a weekly basis on updating them on current happening as all depots regarding stock and sales.
  • Dealing with the export markets on a daily basis for updating of shipment status and documentation needed.
  • Dealing with the warehouse on all related issues.
  • Helping with stock take and supervising of the staff in the warehouse.
  • Warehouse requirements for operating smoothly

:Receiving/Despatch From 1995-03 To 1996-01
Duties
  • Responsible for receiving of stock from suppliers as well as private clients.
  • Receiving, checking, marking and storing goods coming in.
  • Loading of Export containers.
  • Offloading of import containers and checking of containers.
  •  Dealing directly with client as well as route controllers on loading of cargo and any other queries.
  • Dealing with transport companies on loading of trucks.
  • Dealing with pre shipment inspection companies.
  • Ordering of packaging needed for the warehouse
